This is a short interview with the ceo of Gift Card Genie (

in this interview we find out how she got to where she is today, who
she hired to help, what software she used, where the site is hosted,
and what she might do differently if she could do it all over again.
What shopping cart are you using? Are you happy/satisfied with it?
We are currently using the
Storefront.net software and have not done enough business to
make a concrete decision,
but as of now we are very happy with the program.
Who is providing your web hosting service?
Applied Innovations.
Who did the design and who integrated the design into the
webstore?
The design was performed by a local freelance designer, and was
integrated by Wes of

I would definitely recommend
1st Choice E-Commerce to anyone looking to set up a
Storefront.net based site. Wes has been fantastic at helping us
to get set up and delivered on time while exceeding our
expectations.
What are the difficulties you faced while trying to choose the
right shopping cart, web host and developer?
Our project involves a lot of customization, and finding a developer
to perform the customizations has been difficult.
If you had to do it all over again what would you do different?
I might not have hired
Storefront developers to do the original customizations.
